Kavinah joined the Gluckstein team in April 2019. She brings her experience in civil litigation and has experience working on both plaintiff and defendant sides.
She is passionate about human rights, and, advocating for inter-sectional minorities. Her parents emigrated from Sri Lanka about 30 years ago, and she was born and raised in the Toronto area. As a first-generation child, she can understand the needs of immigrants effortlessly. She is known for treating clients with compassion and care.
She moved to England to complete her LLB and plans on pursuing her career as a lawyer in Ontario. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, as well as going to the gym and watching South Asian films.
