2 Gluckstein Lawyers assist OTLA in successfully obtaining leave to intervene at the Court of Appeal
Senior Counsel Steve Rastin and Associate Jessica Golosky, as part of a team acting on behalf of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, successfully obtained leave to intervene at the Court of Appeal in The Personal Insurance Company v. Tagoe. OTLA's participation was fiercely opposed by The Personal Insurance Company. The appeal hearing, which focuses on the issue of the applicability of the principle of discoverability, is set to be heard on November 8, 2024 at the Court of Appeal.
