Bio.
Rebecca joined the Gluckstein team in 2023. Rebecca articled and practiced at a boutique personal injury firm in London, Ontario, specializing in plaintiff sexual abuse litigation prior to joining Rastin Gluckstein in Barrie. Her practice there remains devoted to advocating for plaintiffs in all areas of Personal Injury litigation, including motor vehicle claims, occupiers’ liability, medical negligence, product liability, insurance litigation and disability matters.
Rebecca graduated with a Bachelor of Arts and Master’s degree in Sociology from Wilfrid Laurier University before attending law school at the University of Western Ontario. While completing her law degree she competed in several mooting competitions, representing Western Law at the Arnup Cup, and was an elected member of the Student Legal Society. She also advocated for members of the community as a caseworker at Community Legal Services, and as a Pro Bono Students Canada volunteer, representing their interests in civil and criminal court and the Landlord and Tenant Board.
Rebecca’s education and volunteer experiences have fueled her passion for advocacy, and goal of reducing barriers to access to justice. She continues to pursue these interests at Gluckstein, helping individuals recover after being injured.
Rebecca obtained her Juris Doctor in 2021 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2022. She is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, and the Simcoe County Law Association. Outside of law, Rebecca enjoys live music, sci fi and fantasy books, and spending time outdoors camping, kayaking, and hiking with her dog, Bosco.
