David Stein was called to the bar in June 2018 after completing his legal education at Osgoode Hall Law School, where he earned a Juris Doctor (JD) in 2017. Prior to this, he graduated magna cum laude from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor of Social Science in Political Science and Philosophy, showcasing his commitment to understanding complex social issues.
David's practice focuses on class action and mass tort litigation. He has experience representing clients across a broad spectrum of issues, including medical device negligence, securities, and workplace sexual harassment.
Before joining Gluckstein, David garnered valuable experience at a boutique civil litigation firm, focusing on plaintiff-side class actions and complex litigation. His dedication to social justice is evident from his time in law school, during which he volunteered at both the Community Legal Aid Services Programme (CLASP) and Parkdale Community Legal Services.
Outside of his professional pursuits, David enjoys a variety of hobbies, including cooking and wine, foraging for mushrooms, exploring nature, and taking in a good ball game.
