Kevin Heffernan graduated from the Law Clerk program at Humber College and quickly joined Jellinek Law Office in 2004. The firm practiced personal injury litigation for plaintiffs with a focus on representing survivors of sexual assault and childhood sexual abuse. Kevin has worked with plaintiffs in the Maple Leaf Garden sexual abuse cases, cases involving the Crown, Children’s Aid Societies, many Religious Institutions and School Boards. The firm also represented claimants from Walpole Island First Nations in the Independent Assessment Process for survivors of Aboriginal Residential Schools and represented claimants before the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board.
In 2022, Jellinek Law Office proudly joined the Gluckstein Personal Injury Lawyers team in Toronto.
Kevin has served on the education committee for the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association Law Clerks Division and has been a contributor to the Litigator Magazine and has been a speaker at the OTLA Conference Law Clerk’s program. In 2018, he was awarded the OTLA Outstanding Law Clerk Award.
