Celebrating triumph over adversity at the first ever, Jacoub's Camp!
At Gluckstein Lawyers we strive to ensure we are enhancing our understanding, compassion and commitment to those we serve. We continually support causes that we feel make a difference in the lives of those touched by personal injury, in particular we honour and support our clients.
In lieu of holiday gifts this year, we decided to sponsor a new initiative, Jacoub's Camp, in support our client, The Favila Family. Jacoub's Camp is to honour Jacoub, his family, his memory and most importantly a reminder for responsible driving this holiday season.
Tragically, seven year old Jacoub Favila was killed in a hit-and-run incident on Highway 401 while travelling with his family on New Year's Day 2013.
Supporting Jacoub's Camp
Gluckstein Lawyers are pleased to announce that we will be sponsoring the first Jacoub's Camp Day on Saturday, May 30, 2015.
The Favila Family's dream is to see Jacoub's Camp become a permanent place one day. For children and families touched by serious personal injury, Jacoub's Camp will become a destination where visitors are greeted with a Jacoub Hug. Here they will find a safe space where they can share, comfort and support one another. Children and parents can enjoy a normal and typical day at camp with activities that are creative, fun and interactive for the entire family.
