Each year the Foundation raises and manages funds to support the purchase of superior patient-care equipment, which directly contributes to the overall patient care experience at Hotel Dieu Shaver.

Creating a Yearly Wish List
As pictured above, The Hotel Dieu Shaver Foundation Board of Directors create a wish list each year that outlines the medical equipment their fundraising efforts will support within that calendar year. Since they are an independent health system the government does not provide funding for their medical equipment, hence the importance of their fundraising initiatives.
Hotel Dieu Shaver is the only rehabilitation hospital in Niagara, providing the region with a Centre of Excellence in rehabilitation and complex care.
