Attention all runners!

If you are a runner or are looking to support spinal cord research, then you need to know about the Wings for Life World Run!  As highlighted on their website, this world run is unlike any other fundraising race, as it spans forty locations in 35 countries, in which everyone runs at the same time.

The Wings for Life Foundation along with support from Cisco and Tiani Spirit are hosting this worldwide marathon in support of spinal cord research on May 4th, 2014. The Wings for Life campaign World Run slogan is "Running for those who can't," and in addition, they have introduced various wheelchair races as well.

100% of the proceeds raised will support spinal cord research.

This run will take place across the globe with over 150,000 already registered to take part. Every person will start at the same time and there will be one winner worldwide. Canada's run location is in Saskatoon starting at 4:00 am (local time), the race will begin at Prairieland Park spanning east towards Regina just outside the town of Davidson.

Did you know that over three million people worldwide live with spinal cord injury?

These individuals face challenges and obstacles each day, which is why researchers are working tirelessly to find a cure. This race is such a unique opportunity to support spinal cord research and has succeeded in bringing awareness to the global community, with help from companies like RedBull and celebrities such as former British world champion hurdler Colin Jackson.

Gluckstein Personal Injury Lawyers are very involved in the Spinal Cord Injury community and supporting research causes will truly make a difference. We want to bring awareness to opportunities that are not just in our surrounding community but worldwide.
