The guest speaker is Diana Tikasz (MSW, RSW) who has worked in emergency department crisis teams, violence treatment programs, and whose passion is assisting people in creating personal, professional and organization changes that promote optimal health and make them more effective helpers. You will learn the warning signs and triggers of compassion fatigue, vicarious trauma and burnout, strategies to transform burnout, compassion fatigue and vicarious trauma at home and in the workplace, and of course, you will learn the importance of balance and relaxation.
