"What's New?" hosted by Carrie Zeffiro on TV Cogeco Niagara recently interviewed representatives from the Niagara Health Expo in the station's Niagara Falls studio. Event producer Paul Carfagnini joined Dianne Henderson from the presenting sponsor Gluckstein Lawyers to talk about what's new at the Expo.
Niagara Health Expo Interview
The 6-minute interview was initially broadcast on September 21, and will be repeated on the local cable Niagara TV station on these dates:
- September 24 at 6 p.m.
- September 28 at 6 p.m.
Paul mentioned a few highlights of the event to be held at the Hotel Dieu Shaver Health and Rehabilitation Centre in St. Catharines on October 1 from 10 am to 3 pm. A key point in the show emphasized the collaboration of local doctors and healthcare providers to connect with people of all ages at the community event with free admission and free parking. Paul also highlighted the wide range of services to be promoted at the health fair with 30 exhibitors offering expertise on healthcare from head to toe.
Niagara Health Expo Gluckstein Lawyers
Dianne Henderson, Medical Consultant at Gluckstein Lawyers (Presenting Sponsor of the event) also joined the show as a special guest. In the TV interview, Dianne previewed the presentation she will make at the upcoming Expo, "Managing Your Recovery in Ontario." The expert speaker session scheduled for 10:30 am on October 1 at the Expo will feature Dianne with important information to help the audience understand who funds health care when a sudden injury or illness occurs; and who will assist in decision-making about health care options. Dianne mentioned that all attendees at the speaker session will receive a complimentary copy of a booklet containing a variety of helpful information related to personal injury in Ontario, Managing Your Recovery in Ontario, A Self-Advocacy Guide.
What's New on TV Cogeco takes a look at the incredible individuals and organizations from across Niagara that make our community such a great place to live. Tune into Carrie's show Wednesday and Saturdays at 6 PM and Sundays at 1PM - chances are good you might hear of something that will interest you such as the Niagara Health Expo on October 1.
