Each year Gluckstein Personal Injury Lawyers participates in Spinal Cord Injury of Ontario's (SCIO) Wheelchair Relay Event and our relay team is called The Gluckstein Bears. This year's event was on Sunday, September 21, 2014 at Monarch Park Stadium.
The Wheelchair Relay Challenge is an opportunity for people with and without disabilities in our community to join together for a day of fun, inspiring, friendly competition - all in support of those with spinal cord injuries.
Taking the SCIO Challenge
Our firm has supported this great event since it's inception. This year, the Gluckstein Bears was led once again by Team Captain, Jordan Assaraf, and included fellow lawyers of the firm, Jonathan Burton and Angela Comella, along with family and friends. Moral support was received from their fierce leader, Bernard Gluckstein, who snapped the photos highlighted below.
Bernard has volunteered his time with SCIO for the past 20 years. The Gluckstein Team has represented persons with spinal cord injuries for the last 50 plus years and are ecstatic about being able to help support such a wonderful cause.
